Day 104 ~ I’ll take it!

Day 104 ~ February 19th, 2018

So much sunshine, but it is bloody cold!!!!
I love the sun more than the horrible, overcast gray skies so I will absolutely take this over that “bleh”-ness any day even if I get a touch shiver-y.

I do some exercises to warm myself up if I get too cold like push-ups, jumping jacks, pull-ups, etc.
Or running if I have the time to fit one in because I don’t like to go for shorter than 20 minutes which is usually just over the 4km mark for me. I can hardly wait until I can get running back outside again because this in circles is getting rather boring even though it’s convenient. At least I am not stuck on a treadmill as that is definitely worse than running in circles in my opinion.

Fantastic piano lesson this afternoon. He played some of his songs right off the bat and had a great time playing with bubbles with his teacher as well! There was one HUGE bubble that he jumped with two feet and stomped on it before it hit the ground. It jazzed him up big time!

Today’s Question: Talk about a time you felt completely free and in the flow of life. Where were you? What were you doing? Who was there? How did you feel?

Logging up Silverstar Road with my dad helping him get firewood for the winter this past fall. Some of the toughest work I have ever done, but also, some of the most rewarding as well. The visual of seeing the area you need to fill slowly getting there is a good feeling.
I wish I’d had more time to help him out before winter arrived, but hopefully I will have more time this year. I was so sore the next few days and I actually had a lot of fun doing all that work too. I loved hearing nothing but the sound of us working — our breaths, the chainsaw, footfalls, logs hitting the ground after being thrown, Tessa (the dog) digging/barking — and there was literally no one else around.
