Day 52 ~ what I’ve been up to since summer started

Day 52 ~ August 19th, 2017

Yikes! It has been basically two months since my last post! With summer vacation arriving I spend so much time outside either for just myself or with my son. There have been plenty of days that I don’t turn my computer on, or it’s only on from about supper time to bedtime, which is a good thing!

I have a few posts to do for completing things off my bucket list and I will likely do one for my last race as well (this past Sunday). But first what has gone on lately!

#Darebee Challenges x2 + Unofficial Forearm Plus & 2 Minute Pull-Up ~ Days 28 to 30

Squats & Punches Challenge

Day 28 ~ 26 squats (20sec rest)/5 sets

Day 29 ~ 26 jab + cross + squat (20sec rest)/5 sets

Day 30 ~ 700 punches in total (1 set)

This wasn’t as challenging for me as I would have liked, but it was a nice addition to each day for this month. I’m slowly, and I mean slowly, coming to enjoy squats more and more.

Exercise gives children with autism jump on social skills by Ann Griswold

My son did ABA Therapy and continues with a gross motor body break every 20 minutes to help keep him regulated. It really, really works!

Whatever you need to do to make ABA therapy happen for your kiddo, or someone you know, (if they aren’t already involved with it) then do it because it is completely worth it!

Cardio Trim Run ~ Completed! + Challenges (x3) ~ Days 6 to 13

Finished up Cardio Trim Run program via Darebee.com yesterday.

Day 26 ~ 3 unlocks

Day 29 ~ 3 unlocks

I am beyond pleased that I completed this program on Level 3 every day and I only had two days (I believe) out of thirty that I didn’t finish all three unlocks as well. *happy dancing*

This program is easily my favourite one from the Darebee Team. Running is my zen and it was nicely paired with some circuit training and sprint intervals too!

It’s been an invaluable resource for myself, and obviously for so many others too based on the forum community. A lot of time, effort, and research goes into everything the team shares with whomever would like to use it on the inter-webs and it is astounding. *loud applause*

I got a little behind in posting for these days (well, technically a lot behind…) and then just decided to wait until I finished it to post it.
