Today’s Calendar Word: exsanguine ~ bloodless or anemic
Today’s Calendar Quote:The ignorant eschew phenomena but not thought; the wise eschew thought but not phenomena.” — Huang Po

Piano lessons went amazing this afternoon! Placing the chord stickers on the keys has made playing music on the piano easy-peasy for my son. I’m glad he seems to be getting it and is enjoying it as well!

I spent a little time playing on it afterwards so I could finish figuring out the chords for a song I want played at the wedding this summer when I walk down the aisle. The only thing I need to sort out now is how much slower I want to make it, if I want it only acoustic or add piano in as well and possible re-arrange it a touch as I’m not playing the entire song. I gotta start doing some more planning for the wedding in general… It seemed so far away, but it’s really not!

Day 74 ~ if only I could be a real ninja

Day 74 ~ January 20th, 2018

Today’s Calendar Word: obnubilate ~ to cloud over

Considering that tomorrow (Sunday) is one of the busiest days of the week for us, we all decided to have a rather chill/relaxing day at home. Or at least, as much as is possible!

I finished getting the transportation crafts prepped and started on the last handful of alphabet crafts for this next round. If I finish them up today/tomorrow then I might try to get through a whole extra set because that has me prepared for almost two months craft-wise. I’ll see what happens between now and tomorrow.

Today’s Calendar Quote:Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.” — Martin Luther

The sun is out today!!!!!
It’s been over a week since I saw it last and it is glorious haha

The worst part of winters here isn’t the cold or the snow, but the lack of sunshine for long periods of time. It’s a lovely spring day today though and while it is so lovely, it is kind of cruel too. It’s only the middle of January in Canada so this beautiful warmer weather is a rather horrible tease, especially with snow expected this weekend! We already have a higher than normal snowfall so hopefully it doesn’t warm up too fast like last year and have crazy flooding for weeks. I live too close to the lake for this not to become a touch stressful!

I had a couple of day stretch of where I didn’t feel completely exhausted, but I’m back to feeling that way again. It seems my body has decided that between 4:15 and 4:30 a.m. coming up on a week now…. -_-
I have my fingers crossed for a better end to this week in regards to my sleeping issues! I can’t keep going on like this and I can’t seem to find a solution either!
