Day 83 ~ January 29th, 2018
Today’s Calendar Word: paralogize ~ to draw conclusions that do not follow logically from a given set of assumptions
Today’s Calendar Quote: “Live being true to the single purpose of the moment.” — Tsunetomo Yamamoto
All my son’s new equipment came this morning! Hooray!
The platform swing, koosh ball catch game (I can’t remember what it is called?), big general Play-Doh set and his new iPhone. I’ll finish setting it up tomorrow most likely so I can have it ready for him when he comes back from his dad’s place on Wednesday evening. Plus, the items that his O.T. (Occupational Therapist) ordered came in as well so she dropped those off at our meeting this morning too! It made for a rather exciting start to the day because every time the door opened new things seemed to just appear haha
I finally set up the wedding group on Facebook… the best place to put all the wedding party information for every one to see, even if I don’t use it all that often. I didn’t even have it on my phone until this afternoon and honestly once the wedding is over in the summer I am definitely taking it back off again. Instagram is my preferred mode of social media and I even like Twitter over Facebook as well.
Anyway, I am digressing a touch… I need to buckle down and find a dress quick too. Dress shopping is horrid, even if I am only doing a little at home!
Today’s Question: Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil?
In most situations, yes, I think this is possible. Ethically I suppose this could be argued against, but the sounding board for this question is another simple question in my opinion.
Will this action/thought/spoken word hurt (or negatively impact) any other person(s)?
If the answer is yes, then it might be best to not do/say/think that specific thing or perhaps finding another way to do so that won’t meet with negative results.
Cheers ~ ✌
