Day 30 ~ Describe the effect Harry Potter has had on your life and how much it means to you?
Perhaps for someone younger this series might have held some profound effect on me, but I was twenty when I started reading it. It’s certainly very well written and is an immersive story. But, aside from some enjoyment for my imagination that’s where it ends.
I have much of myself involved in series like Dune or Star Wars, so it’s hard to top my love for those series even though Harry Potter is pretty fantastic too.
Day 29 ~ Is there a job you’d want to have if you were part of the Wizarding World?
I think I would like to be an Auror. That job sounds like the coolest at the Ministry for sure.
If not that job, then it would be rather cool to be a Professor at Hogwarts!
Day 23 ~ Any/all parts of the books/films that makes you cry?
Dobby’s death in both the book and the film.
And Professor Snape’s death in the film.
Day 24 ~ Any particular scene you wished was in one of the films but wasn’t?
Honesty, it’s been too long between reading the books and seeing the films to be able to answer this question. I am leaning towards ‘no’ as nothing comes to mind in the slightest at the moment.
Days 25 to 28
Day 21 ~ If you could bring one of the characters back to life, who would you choose?
Dobby the House Elf!
Day 14 ~ Pick one: Team Voldemort or Team Harry
Team Harry, I suppose. I liked Voldemort as a villan, but I always found myself rooting for Harry.
Day 15 ~ Who would be your best friends at Hogwarts (pick up to three)?
Luna, Fred, and George!
Days 16 to 20
Day 13 ~ Your least favourite of the movies
Probably Order of the Phoenix.
I remember Harry being super ‘whiny’, or angry, throughout it and that gets annoying eventually.
I can’t recall much of anything else of from it otherwise…
Day 9 ~ Your least favourite male character and why?
Peter Pettigrew, but you’re not suppose to like him. He’s snivelly and weasel-like and kind of all around irritating, but again that was what his character is supposed to be.
Days 10 to 12
