I got really behind with posting these…. Yikes! I shall try to get back into the habit of daily posting from the beginning of next month on-wards!
Day 81
I’m Grateful For/That…
(1) how easy it is to make cookies
(2) fun, pretend games
(3) my dad got through surgery fine
(4) I can see things really close without my glasses on
(5) painkillers
I’m Grateful For/That…
(1) my son enjoys helping me out with some of the chores
(2) realistic expectations
(3) clean, working toilets —-> I had the pleasure *ugh* of fishing out a small toy out of a toilet this morning. The whole thing was an accident but I am very thankful that the toilet was clean (yay! for clean freaks like me!) and not plugged either!
(4) nail clippers
(5) getting the garbage and recycling out on time
Out in the yard the last couple of days I have been very productive, it helps that it’s been so nice out! I even had some help shoveling and hauling buckets of rocks from the back yard to the front yard this morning from my little guy. Last week he was really into helping with yard work so I got him his own pair of work gloves and he is all kinds of excited about that. It makes me happy to see him to eager to help and learn new things. If he keeps helping me out when I am working in the yard(s) then it’ll be looking pretty spiffy in no time 😀
He even has to place his own gloves just like mine. I have the best copycat ever!
Some of our hard work this morning and hopefully get some more done tomorrow afternoon.
